Dear beloved prayer partners,

As we welcome the New Year 2025, I sincerely bless and pray that God’s great grace and blessings will abundantly flow into your homes, communities, and workplaces. I pray that a great movement of God will happen in all areas of your life.

Although the past year, 2024, was filled with various challenges and difficulties, by God's grace and through your precious partnership in prayer, we experienced the expansion of God’s kingdom, which is not bound by anything. I am truly grateful for each one of your partnerships.

As I reflect on the New Year, two words come to mind:

The first is 'Wrath'.

The Psalmist asks, “Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?” (Psalm 2:1). When we hear about the conflicts and wars between nations in the Middle East, the war between Russia and Ukraine, political turmoil due to the impeachment of the President and Prime Minister of Korea, and the turmoil in various parts of the world, I believe we are witnessing the increasing approach of God’s wrath and judgment upon this generation.

The prophet Isaiah also says, "Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence, as fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil— to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!" (Isaiah 64:1-2).

I pray that in this new year, God's wrath and judgment will be poured out upon the nations and peoples that oppose the Lord, and that His glory and power will be revealed more than ever before.

The second is 'Revival'.

The prophet Joel says, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.” (Joel 2:28-29).

In 2025, I believe God will shake the lands and nations of Turkey and the Islamic world even more, and we will witness the powerful spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that, as God has promised, a great wave of revival will come.

Therefore, as we observe the signs and phenomena happening in this generation, let us have wisdom to discern the times. Let us awaken from our slumber, casting off the works of darkness and putting on the armor of light, living decently and putting on the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:11-14).

Let us not seek the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, or the pride of life that come from the world (1 John 2:16), but instead, let us obey the command of our Lord to “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33).

I pray that 2025 will be a year where we follow God’s will with all our hearts.
