The Philistine’s champion Goliath insults the Army of God. A young shepherd named David without fears appears in order to face this ferocious warrior. David just prepared with a sling and five pebble stone comes against this giant and shouts, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the Armies of Israel, whom you have defied” (1 Samuel 17:45). The tiny pebble stone thrown in faith of our God suddenly, lodges in the forehead of Goliath. The giant succumbs into the foreground, which he stood. The victory belongs to God almighty. Just like the giant Goliath, we are witnessing the Islamic and other wicked spiritual forces rise, it is time we gather to face them in prayers and in faith. 2007 United Prayer Movement has been possible through many humble prayers of those who collaborate with Silk Wave Mission.
